DMCA & Abuse Policy
This document outlines the official policy of CaptchaSonic regarding copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and our protocols for handling service abuse. We are committed to operating lawfully and respecting the intellectual property of others.
Our DMCA Policy
Section titled “Our DMCA Policy”CaptchaSonic respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the DMCA, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service that are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent, identified in the sample notice below.
Automated CAPTCHA Recognition
Section titled “Automated CAPTCHA Recognition”Our service provides automated recognition for various CAPTCHA types to assist developers and researchers in legitimate testing and accessibility applications. We explicitly forbid the use of our service for any purpose that infringes on the terms of service or intellectual property rights of any third-party service, including but not limited to:
- Awswaf
- lemin
- reCAPTCHA (v2, v3, Enterprise)
- hCaptcha
- mtCaptcha
- Geetest
- Standard Text/Image OCR
How to File a DMCA Complaint
Section titled “How to File a DMCA Complaint”If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, please report alleged copyright infringements by completing the following DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and delivering it to our Designated Copyright Agent. Upon receipt of the notice as described below, we will take whatever action, in our sole discretion, we deem appropriate, including removal of the challenged material from our service.
A valid DMCA notice must be a written communication that includes substantially the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
- Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and an email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Deliver this notice, with all items completed, to our Designated Copyright Agent.
How to Submit Your DMCA Notice

Counter-Notification Process
Section titled “Counter-Notification Process”If you believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- An identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification.
Abuse Policy
Section titled “Abuse Policy”CaptchaSonic maintains a zero-tolerance policy for the use of our services for any illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, spamming, credential stuffing, unauthorized data scraping, or any activity that violates local or international law. We actively monitor for such behavior and will investigate all credible reports of abuse. Accounts found in violation of this policy will be terminated immediately without a refund.
